Please keep in mind that natural wood must breathe and is affected by environmental conditions such as high or low humidity, air conditioners, heaters, sunlight, moisture, and altitude. Time-honored construction techniques including mortise and tenon joinery and dovetailed drawers ensure the product durability, but you may expect to see some slight shrinkage, plank movement and seasonal cracks from time to time. These are normal occurrences that will not affect structural integrity of the piece. With proper care, this hardwood furniture item should last for generations. Variances in rustic finishes, including worn edges, uneven planks, dents and nicks are considered a natural distressed characteristic of this item and desirable for their ‘antiquing’ effect.

This furniture has an eco-friendly lacquer finish which we recommend using non-wax furniture polish, such as Guardsman wood polish, to maintain. Do not use care products that contain ammonia or silicone, as they will cut through the lacquer (over time) and damage your piece.

For daily maintenance, use a mild soap and water solution. Towel-dry immediately.
